GenreIQ requests access to Apple Music to look up genre information for identified songs. No personal library data or listening history is accessed.
GenreIQ does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no analytics, no accounts, and no tracking of any kind.
Song identification is handled by ShazamKit (Apple). Genre data is sourced from the Apple Music catalog. Wikipedia links are resolved from a locally bundled database derived from Wikidata. No data leaves your device except as required by these Apple-provided frameworks.
